90% of children with eye cancer are diagnosed after a parent sees a white glow in their eye.
Vital care is delayed when parents don’t know the significance of the white glow. In the early stages, this cancer does not cause pain and the child does not appear to be losing sight.
Pint and audio visual media journalists have great capacity to help save lives and sight of young children around the world by raising awareness of childhood eye cancer and its early signs.
Globally, many challenges impede effective care for children, survivors and their families. WE C Hope of life and sight for all, and our mission to improve awareness, medical care and family support is creating a brighter future where previously there was only heartache.
We can help members of the media who are researching any aspect of retinoblastoma or the global issues of childhood cancer. Please use the media resources below and contact us for further discussion.
