Sporting Challenges

Get fit and give hope – go active for children with eye cancer and their families around the world.

A country walk with the dog or gentle swim at your local pool, an open water swim, road cycling race or 10k run, perhaps a full marathon or tough mudder…

There are many events around the world that you can join to raise valuable funds that share hope of life and sight saving care, while having your own fit-tastic experience.

Ready, Set, Go!

Are you planning to take part in a physical challenge?
Are you looking for inspiration to help you with a healthier approach to life?
Do you enjoy being part of a social gathering?
Do you want to help others while having fun and being healthy yourself?

If the answer to any of these questions is YES, a sporting event supporting our life-saving work may be just what you’re looking for!

We would be thrilled to receive your support. Let us know when, where and what you are doing. and we will support you to be a champion.

We will keep in regular contact with you to offer extra encouragement and answer any questions you may have.  We may also be able to reimburse your entry fee, depending on the fee and your fundraising total.

Three Golden Rules

Stay Safe

Your safety is very important to us.  Please consider your health and level of fitness when choosing a sporting event.  If you have a medical condition, always consult your doctor before signing up to a sporting event, whether you are participating for Daisy’s Eye Cancer Fund or not.

Train Well

Plan your schedule and ensure you train regularly to build up your fitness and endurance.  When you sign up to an event, let us know and we will supply you with a training guide for your particular event.

Have Fun

Enjoy yourself, whatever activity you are doing, and when you cross the finish line, be very proud.  You will have helped bring essential care closer to every precious child fighting eye cancer! That is an incredible feeling, like no other!

Find a Sporting Challenge

The links below take you to external websites for third-party events. Organisers sometimes run events to support specific charities.  Please check that you will be able to raise funds for World Eye Cancer Hope before registering.

When you have chosen an event and registered to participate, please let us know, so we can send you a Sports Pack and support you in your challenge.
