Anyone can set up a fundraising page. It’s simple, free, and takes less than 10 minutes. Donations are transferred directly to WE C Hope, so you don’t have to collect or process any cash or checks.

Create Your Page and Connect With Your Supporters
You can create your own inspiring fundraising page with these easy steps.
- Go to the Fundraising Page for WE C Hope USA (Givebutter) or WE C Hope UK (JustGiving).
- Click on the “Fundraise” button. The location is slightly different on the USA and UK pages:
- USA: The “Fundraise” button is to the right of the “Team Members” heading, just below our large logo at the top of the page.
- UK: The “Fundraise” button is at the top, to the right of our logo and name.
- Log in, or create an account.
- Give your page an inspiring title.
- Set your fundraising target.
- Tell visitors what retinoblastoma means to you and why you’re fundraising for WE C Hope. Inspire their support with your personal story.
- Add compelling photos and/or videos.
- Make your own donation – even a small gift from the page owner inspires people to give.
- If you wish, customize your webpage link.
- Email/Text your personal fundraising page and share on social media platforms!
Donors can leave a message with their gift. They will automatically receive an e-receipt (which is also a tax receipt) and a thank you note from WE C Hope. You will receive a notification, and can also send donors a personalized thank you note.
Ways to Use a Fundraising Page
- Friends and family can support your fundraiser from around the world by donating online.
- Create a birthday, cancerversary, or holiday fundraiser.
- Have the page readily available at parties, networking events, club meetings, church gatherings, sports practices, etc. to share whenever possible.
Platform Fees
Fundraising platforms typically have processing fees around 3-4%. Some platforms such as Givebutter, which is used for donations to our USA Chapter, allow the donor to cover these fees if they do not wish to pass them on to the nonprofit.
Donations can be made with a debit or credit card from anywhere in the world. Givebutter does not currently charge a credit card fee. Overseas banks may charge a processing fee of approximately 1.5%, which will not be passed to World Eye Cancer Hope.
