Setting up a regular gift is a simple, convenient way to support our vital work and spread your gift throughout the year. You can give any size of gift that fits in with your monthly budget, and your donation will be processed automatically.

Gift Aid is a government scheme enabling us to claim basic rate income tax as a charitable donation. This means the Inland Revenue will give us an extra 25p for every £1 donated by a UK Tax payer.
How It Works
Anyone who pays UK tax can Gift Aid charitable donations, and any size of donation qualifies. You must pay tax for that financial year equal to or greater than the amount reclaimed on your donation.
For example, if you set up a monthly Direct Debit of £10, your total annual donation for one year will be £120. If you Gift Aid your donation, we can reclaim £30.00 from the taxman. So you must pay at least £30.00 in tax during the same year.
Higher Rate Tax Payers
If you are a higher rate tax payer, you can reclaim the tax from donations made during the previous and current tax years. Just include the details of each charitable gift on your tax return form.

Grace Zellers from Arizona was diagnosed with retinoblastoma as a baby. Payroll Giving
Give As You Earn enables you to make a tax free donation through your salary. The amount you donate is deducted by your employer before tax is calculated. If you pay basic rate tax and donate £10 per month, the donation will only cost you £7.80. The remaining £2.20 comes from the taxman.
Ask your Payroll Department if the scheme is available, and fill in the Give As You Earn from they provide. If your employer is not registered with the scheme, request that they join. We will gladly give you details of other ways the company can support our work.
