Welcome to One Retinoblastoma World 2026 in San Antonio, Texas.
- Friday, September 11: Evening Welcome Reception open to all guests.
- Saturday, September 12 – Monday, September 14: Programming focused on current patients, survivors, families, medical professionals, and the scientific community with speakers, panels, open-floor discussions, and more. Sessions will include a family/parent/survivor focus exploring real-world application of topics as well as a medical focus providing context and evidence-based information.
One Rb World provides unique educational and networking opportunities. This is a working meeting focused on building connections and collaborations to enhance care for all children, survivors, and families. Clinicians, researchers, survivors and families – we all learn from each other. And together we will improve outcomes – no matter where in the world we live or work.
We recognize our 2026 conference falls during Rosh Hashanah, and we apologize for any conflicts this may create. We hope many in our community will still be able to participate, and we remain committed to making the conference as accessible and inclusive as possible.
We encourage professionals, survivors, and family members to attend all three days of the program for maximum benefit. Full participation will help everyone understand all aspects of retinoblastoma more deeply, and nurture a stronger global community.

Conference Overview
We are planning a full, diverse, and engaging program. Sessions will be facilitated by medical professionals, Rb researchers, parents, and survivors. Speakers, identified for their expertise in the field, will deliver short talks that cover a range of perspectives before we open the floor for discussion.
Open discussion time in each session invites everyone to explore topics and questions together. This is a space where professionals, scientists, parents, and survivors can share knowledge and experience, and collaborate to tackle some of the biggest challenges in retinoblastoma.
Coming together with others who are impacted by retinoblastoma is deeply healing and immensely uplifting by sharing experiences and knowledge, friendship, laughter, hugs and hope, and sometimes tears.
Benefits of Meeting In-Person
Since 2017, WE C Hope has live-streamed many One Rb World sessions, making them available after the event. We are delighted to offer this program in a hybrid format, and we look forward to sharing details about the virtual program and registration in Summer 2026.
However, nothing can replace the power of immediate, present human interaction at the heart of the One Rb World experience.
While virtual attendance offers access and convenience, being physically present in the room offers a richer, more immersive experience. In-person interactions foster deeper connections, collaborative opportunities, and a shared sense of purpose and commitment. This is what makes One Rb World such an effective forum for positive change in retinoblastoma care.
We are excited to gather in Texas, and share again the many benefits of meeting in-person with our wonderful US and global Rb community.

SIOP World Congress and One Rb World – A Global Pediatric Oncology Community
In-person meetings of One Rb World take place immediately before the World Congress of the International Society of Paediatric Oncology (SIOP). In 2026, the 58th SIOP World Congress will be held September 15-18 at the Henry B. González Convention Center.
SIOP is the most significant global conference for professionals working in childhood cancer, combining the annual meetings of five global professional organizations, and the world congress of Childhood Cancer International. CCI unites parent and survivor advocacy organizations around the world for global support and impact.
Parents and survivors can register for SIOP with access to the full professional program, including tracks focused on pediatric oncology nursing, pediatric psycho-oncology, pediatric oncology in developing counties, and parent and survivor advocacy. There is no child care provision at the meeting.
