Many wonderful organizations around the world bring help and hope to children affected by cancer, their families and adult survivors.
The following is a selection of resources that we think may be valuable to you. We hope this directory will grow in time to include resources in many countries.

Believe In Tomorrow (USA)
Provides hospital and retreat accommodation to families of seriously ill children. Also runs supportive care programmes for children and their siblings.
CLIC Sargent (UK)
Provides support, advice, and general help to children, teens, and their families who are dealing with leukaemia and other cancers. Also provides hospital accommodation and play specialists for paediatric oncology centres.
Joe’s House (USA)
This non-profit has negotiated discounted rates for out-of-town patients. Search by city or healthcare facility, or click on the “PARTNERS” tab at the top of the page for a list of participating facilities. Book online or by telephone, following the Instructions under each listing.
Healthcare Hospitality Network (USA)
A national professional association of nearly 200 non-profit organizations that provide lodging and support services to patients and their families during treatment far from their home community. The mission of HHN is to support homes that help and heal to be more effective in their service to patients and families. Their website includes a searchable database of lodgings.
Ronald McDonald House Charities (International)
Provides family accommodation within and near paediatric treatment centres around the world. Serves under-accessed communities with mobile paediatric medical facilities. Maintains scholarships and suicide/child abuse prevention programmes.
The Sick Children’s Trust (UK)
Provides “home from home” hospital accommodation for families of children receiving treatment.
